RIC Energy Africa donated 40 Waste Skips this month to Kampala City Council Authority, Uganda as part of its ESG initiatives. 

Our Africa/Asia CEO Rajesh Chugh together with RIC Uganda team formally handed over the waste skips at an event attended by Honorable Minister of Kampala & Metropolitan Affairs Ms Minsa Kabanda and Executive Director of KCCA Ms Dorothy Kiyimba-Kisaka.
 

This is part of our commitment to provide 200 Nos. waste skips and 20 waste collection trucks to contribute to GoU initiatives for its vision of Smart City Kampala. RIC Energy Africa (REA) is currently engaged by KCCA (Kampala Capital City Authority) to develop, finance and construct a 40MW Waste to Energy plant for the city of Kampala for which REA will invest USD 200 Million over next two years.
