Madrid, 15 November 2024 – RIC Energy, the independent renewable energy group, has been awarded 29 million euros in the final resolution of the Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE) for energy storage. This allocation, granted by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, will allow the company to develop all six energy storage projects presented with batteries that will contribute significantly to the stability and efficiency of the Spanish electricity system.

José Luis Moya, CEO of RIC Energy, expressed his satisfaction with this achievement: ‘Obtaining these grants allows us to advance in our commitment to the energy transition and reinforces our position as a leader in the development of innovative energy storage solutions’.
