More than 4,000 MW already completed and 12,000 MW in global projects.
More than 2,500 MW in 10 projects under development in Spain and the United States.
12 projects under development with an estimated annual production of 850 GW and one million tons of waste processed per year.
More than 250 MW with access and connection and more than 1,500 MW in the permit application process.
We are pioneers in the development of photovoltaic energy, with presence in more than twelve countries on four continents. We have developed projects for companies such as Hanwha-QCells, TrinaSolar, Sonnedix or Ligthsource BP, Pacific Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, Georgia Power, National Grid, Panasonic, NYSEG, American Electric Power, among others.
We have some of the most advanced green hydrogen projects in Spain. The HydRIC project, in collaboration with Repsol, has an initial 30 MW electrolyzer, with plans to expand up to 200 MW. This initiative has received a grant from the European Union’s Next Generation funds. We are also partners and shareholders in Fertighy, a European consortium for the manufacture of green fertilizers, and we promote Besaya H2, one of the largest green hydrogen and derivatives projects on the Cantabrian coast.
We develop biomethane projects adapted to the waste and fertilizer management needs of the areas where they are implemented. We currently have projects in Andalusia, Extremadura, Castilla La Mancha, Castilla-Leon and Aragon, with the ambition to develop projects in the rest of the autonomous communities.
We specialize in large-scale grid-connected storage projects that will enable the penetration of renewable energy projects and contribute to the stability of the Spanish electricity grid. Our projects offer an innovative technological solution aligned with the most demanding environmental and territorial requirements. We also have partnerships with local and regional institutions where our projects are installed, as well as with AEPIBAL, the Spanish storage association.
We have developed and installed 60 MWp of operating assets. We have a pipeline of 1,800 MW of renewable projects under development in the states of New York, Georgia, Texas and California including photovoltaic, green hydrogen and storage projects.
We actively collaborate with the most important players in the sector: Pacific Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, Georgia Power, National Grid, Panasonic, NYSEG, American Electric Power, AES, MacQuarie and DE Shaw.
We have developed and delivered about 4,000 MWp in photovoltaic projects throughout Spain, which makes us a key player in the culmination of the energy transition in Spain.
Major international industry leaders such as Hanwha-QCells, TrinaSolar, Sonnedix or Ligthsource BP have trusted us to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves.
We are currently developing 9,000 MW of renewable projects that include the most innovative technologies such as green hydrogen production, storage and biogas.
After entering the Italian market at the beginning of 2023 with the purchase of 10 MW in the Lazio region, we currently have 200 MW in projects secured via SAP (Simplified Administrative Procedure) and spread throughout the country.
We have developed and installed two of the largest plants in East and Central Africa in Uganda, the 20 MW Kabulasoke and 23 MW Nkongue, which have ensured that the first power supply of many families in the region is 100 percent renewable.
We have developed a portfolio in the region of more than 3,000 MW and more than 50 MW in photovoltaic projects completed or under construction in countries such as South Africa, Kenya, Malawi, Cape Verde, Zimbabwe, Cape Verde, Burkina Faso, Sao Tome, Sierra Leone and Zambia.
Other projects of a more social nature, such as the photovoltaic installations in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, have received recognition with awards as the best International Energy project granted by El Periódico de la Energía de España.
Large business groups have trusted RIC Energy to carry out their renewable projects.
